Connecticut College Hands Men's Tennis 8-1 Loss In Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Babson College men's tennis team closed out
its spring break trip to Florida with another tough loss on
Thursday, as the Beavers fell to Connecticut College, 8-1. As a
result, Babson returns home with an overall record of 2-6.
Babson's lone point came at number six singles, where first-year
Zach Ringer (Minnetonka, Minn.) cruised to a
dominating 6-0, 6-1 victory over the Camels' Jacob Levin. The
Beavers nearly picked up another point at five, but Connecticut
College's Jeremy Bader edged out Babson sophomore Nissim
Cohen-Sabban (Chula Vista, Calif.) in a third-set
superbreaker, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (13-11).
The Beavers resume play one week from today, when they host non-conference for Emerson College at 3 p.m. It will be the first of four consecutive home contests for Babson.
