NEW LONDON, Conn.—Sophomore Allie Puccio (New Hartford, N.Y.) put away a season-high 17 kills in 25 attempts for a .640 hitting percentage to help visiting Babson College sweep the Coast Guard Academy, 25-18, 25-12, 25-16, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's volleyball action on Saturday afternoon at Roland Hall.
With its fifth straight win, Babson improves to 11-4 overall and 5-0 in league play, while Coast Guard drops to 14-4 overall and 3-3 in the NEWMAC.
