NEW ORLEANS—The Babson College men's and women's cross country teams were recognized for their hard work in the classroom by earning All-Academic Team honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) late last week.
Under the direction of head coach Russ Brennan, the Babson women garnered All-Academic Team accolades for the 13th time in the last 14 seasons. One of 216 women's programs honored by the USTFCCCA, the Beavers recorded the fall 2020 term with a 3.60 team grade-point average, which improved the squad's cumulative GPA to 3.38.
The Babson men's program earned its first award since 2018 by recording a 3.41 GPA during the fall semester to raise its cumulative team GPA to 3.28. The Green and White was one of 180 Division III men's teams to earn All-Academic Team distinction from the USTFCCCA.
