BRAC Weekly Update (as of April 5)


Monday-Thursday (8 slots) 9:30-10:30 a.m., 10:45-11:45 a.m., 12-1 p.m., 1:15-2:15 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m., 3:45-4:45 p.m., 5-6 p.m., 6:15-7:15 p.m.
Friday-Saturday (6 slots) 10-11 a.m., 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., 12:30-1:30 p.m., 1:45-2:45 p.m., 3-4 p.m., 4:15-5:15 p.m.


Visit the RecFit portal to reserve a spot in the fitness center, on a spin bike, or to play basketball or ping pong.

  • All users must make reservations for the fitness center and recreation courts using our new online reservation system:
    • Reservation instructions can be found HERE
    • You will only be allowed inside the building if you have a reservation and fulfilled all of the requirements noted above
      • The building will open five minutes before your reservation for check-in
    • Reservations can be made up to one day in advance
    • Reservations will be limited to one hour
  • Capacities for reservations will be:
    • Fitness center (first floor weight room and second floor cardio room)
      • 35 total, maximum of 20 per floor
    • Spin bikes on the mezzanine
      • 8
  • In order to accommodate everyone in the fitness center, there is a cancelation policy for students, faculty and staff.
    • Cancel your reservation at least one hour before your reservation time in order to not be considered a no show. Instructions can be found HERE
    • You have three now show opportunities before your membership is suspended for one week. The suspension will begin one week from your last no show.
    • Once you have three no shows, your membership will be suspended another week for each additional no show.


  • Negative COVID test(s) since being on campus (two negative tests for students)
    • Be prepared to present your green digital Return to Babson Badge (delivered via email) to BRAC front desk staff
  • Cleared to enter via your daily health check screening tool  
    • Be prepared to show this clearance to BRAC front desk staff
  • Signed waiver prior to your first visit to BRAC
    • Waivers can be signed by logging into the RecFit portal HERE
    • A new waiver must be signed, even if you signed one last year
  • Masks or face coverings are mandatory at all times
  • Keeping proper distance from other patrons is necessary at all times. Staff will be on hand to assist in this effort (no spotting allowed)


  • BRAC will be closed in between reservations for staff cleaning
    • Users must clean stations/machines after usage as well
      • Cleaning supplies will be available throughout the space
  • All locker rooms are closed until further notice (showers are not available)
  • Public restrooms are open
  • Machines and stations are spaced and marked for your safety, please abide by these protocols
    • Please do not move any equipment from designated stations
    • BRAC staff will be stationed on both floors of the fitness center, monitoring usage for your safety

LES MILLS Group Fitness Classes in BRAC: Beginning on Wednesday, October 14, we will begin to offer a variety of classes in BRAC, including body combat, RPM, sprint, grit (cardio) and bodyflow.

  • Body Combat - a high energy, martial arts-inspired, non-contact workout
  • RPM - a cyclying class to burn calories and get fit fast
  • Sprint - a 30 minute cycle workout that uses HIIT training
  • Grit (Cardio) - a 30 minute HIIT workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn
  • BodyFlow - a yoga based class to strengthen your entire body and leaving feeling calm and centered

Weekly Schedule: To sign up for a class, go to the RecFit portal 24 hours before the class time you want. After signing up, you should receive a confirmation email.

In addition to classes in BRAC, all students, faculty and staff will have access to 100+ virtual classes across 10 different categories for free until Friday, December 11. These classes are designed for you to do at home with little to no equipment. Access to these classes can be found on the LES MILLS website with no sign up or log in needed. Scroll down, click on a class and begin a great workout.

There's also the option to access LES MILLS On-Demand consisting of 1,000+ classes in 16 different categories and 15-60 minutes long. The link has been upgraded to provide you with 60 free days (originally 30 days) for first-time subscribers and a discounted rate of $9.99 after that (regularly $14.99). When signing up, you will be asked to enter your payment details but won't be charged until after the 60-day trial is complete.
