Accomplishments: As captain of the tennis and golf teams, Wally Pratt exemplified the true meaning of an athlete, excelling in each sport. In tennis, he was Babson's number one player on the court. Pratt and doubles partner Jack Croasdaile were literally unbeatable, going undefeated in 1955. His skill on the golf course was recognized by his teammates who elected him as their captain in his senior year. Pratt was a student of the game of hockey and when Babson needed a head hockey coach in 1953, he was chosen by the College to take over the reins. He then led the hockey team to successful seasons over the next three years.
