Men's Basketball Unveils 2019-20 Schedule

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Coming off a second consecutive 15-win campaign last winter, Babson College head men's basketball coach Stephen Brennan announced his program's 2019-20 schedule on Thursday morning.

The Beavers kick off the year with the 34th edition of the Babson Invitational Tournament on November 9-10 inside Staake Gymnasium. The Green and White will take on Anna Maria in its opener before facing Suffolk on day two of the tournament, which features a classic format this season.

Babson travels to Lasell on November 13 and will host Salve Regina on November 16 before facing the first of three straight NESCAC opponents when it visits Bates on November 24. The Beavers travel to Bowdoin on December 1 before returning home to take on Amherst on December 4. The Beavers wrap up the semester with the 11th Annual New England Big 4 Challenge at Salem State on December 7-8. They will play the host Vikings in the opening round, which will be followed by a matchup against either Brandeis or Tufts.

The Green and White returns from the break to face Eastern Connecticut State at the Trinity Holiday Invitational on December 30. The Beavers will take on either the host Bantams or Regis on December 31 before opening New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play against Springfield inside Staake Gymnasium on January 8.

Babson travels to WPI on January 11 and hosts Coast Guard on January 15, which is followed by back-to-back road games at Clark (January 18) and Wheaton (January 22). The Beavers close out the month with consecutive home games against MIT on January 25 and Emerson, the defending NEWMAC Tournament champions, on January 29.

The Green and White begins the final month of the regular season with road trips to Coast Guard (February 1) and MIT (February 5), which is followed by a home date with Clark on February 8. Babson finishes off a three-game home stand with contests against WPI on February 12 and Wheaton on February 15 before concluding the regular season with trips to Emerson on February 19 and Springfield on February 22.

The five-team NEWMAC Tournament will get underway with a quarterfinal matchup on February 26. The semifinals will be hosted by the top two seeds on February 28 with the final set to be hosted by the highest remaining seed on March 1.
