    February 27, 2009
After winning six of their final nine games and earning their eighth consecutive Pilgrim League Tournament berth last spring, the Babson College men’s lacrosse team will look to carry that momentum into the 2009 season. The Beavers should have the talent and much-needed depth to do just that, as they return two All-Pilgrim League midfielders and add 10 first-years to the program. Despite the loss of 2008 Pilgrim League leading goal scorer and new assistant coach Jason Wellemeyer to graduation, the Beavers still return two of their top offensive players from a year ago. A First Team All-Conference selection, senior captain Bryan Wilbur (Hingham, Mass.) returns in the midfield for the Beavers. In 2008, he was second on the team in points with 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 total points. He is joined in the midfield by classmate Matt Enright (Bristol, R.I.), who was a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2008 after placing third on the team in points with 21 goals and nine assists.
