Men's Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Recognition

NEW ORLEANS—The Babson College men's track & field program was recognized for its success in the classroom when it collected United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors on Monday.

Under the guidance of head coach Russ Brennen, the Beavers earned USTFCCCA All-Academic accolades for the second year in a row and the 10th time in the last 13 seasons. One of 113 men's teams to be honored, the Beavers posted a 3.16 team grade-point average during fall and spring semesters.

All programs with a 3.10 GPA or higher are eligible to earn All-Academic team honors from the USTFCCCA.

Babson recorded its second highest point total in program history on the way to finishing sixth at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships in April, and placed 25th at the NCAA New England Championships in May.
