Roche Named to NFHCA Division III Senior Game Roster, Diamond Selected as Alternate

GILBERT, Ariz.—Babson College seniors Tori Roche (Andover, Mass.) and Cate Diamond (Hingham, Mass.) were both chosen for the 2019 Victory Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game on Tuesday. Roche was one of 60 players named for the initial roster, while Diamond was one of 10 selected as an alternate field player.

The Division III Senior Game will be played in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship on Saturday, November 23, at 5 p.m. at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pa.

A two-time All-New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and Longstreth/NFCA All-New England first-team selection, Roche has produced 10 goals and two assists for 22 points through 14 games this fall. One of just 10 players in program history to surpass 100 career points, she ranks seventh in program history with 46 goals and ninth all-time with 103 points.

A three-year starter in the midfield for the Beavers, Diamond has one assist in 14 contests this season. She has started 52 of 53 games since 2017 and has produced three goals and six assists for 12 points in 70 career matches.

No. 18 Babson (11-3, 5-0 NEWMAC) returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Smith at 12 p.m.
