BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College men's and women's swimming & diving teams were recognized for their work in the classroom with College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors last week.
Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Kristy Martin Jones, the Beavers' men's and women's squads were part of more than 450 institutions that saw their programs collect CSCAA Scholar All-America accolades. The women's team finished the first semester with a 3.37 grade-point average while the men ended the term with a 3.24 GPA.
Additionally, this marked the eighth consecutive semester Babson's men's and women's teams were recognized for their success in the classroom by the CSCAA.
For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
