Women's Tennis Downs Endicott for Eighth Straight Win, 7-0

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Sophomores Marissa Madison (Columbus, Ohio), Carolina Merz (Santa Tecla, El Salvador) and Nastasia Tamarkin (Washington, D.C.) all recorded victories in both singles and doubles as Babson College defeated visiting Endicott College, 7-0, in non-conference women's tennis action on Thursday afternoon at the Babson Tennis Complex.

Tamarkin and sophomore Alexa Tutecky (North York, Ontario) won 8-1 at number one, Merz and Madison registered an 8-4 victory at number two, and junior Emily Roeper (Belle Mead, N.J.) and first-year Mary Kille (Simsbury, Conn.) breezed to an 8-0 triumph at number three.

Merz, Tamarkin and Madison all won 6-0, 6-0 in singles, while senior Alexandra Blizard (Dover, Mass.) posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory at number six singles. Tutecky and Roeper both held a one-set advantage when the match was halted.

Basbon returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts No. 16 MIT at 3:30 p.m., while Endicott takes on Merrimack next Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
