THE SETUP
• No. 17 Babson closes out the month of September with a pair of matches at Smith on Saturday afternoon. The Beavers take on the host Pioneers in a conference tilt in their opening match of the day before taking on Keene State for the second year in a row.

SERIES HISTORY
vs. Smith
• Babson is 13-22 all-time against the Pioneers and has dominated the series as of late with nine wins in the last 10 matches between the teams going back to 2008.
• The Beavers defeated Smith in three sets (25-16, 25-12, 25-21) on September 22, 2018, in Babson Park.

vs. Keene State
• The Beavers are 3-2 all-time against the Owls in a series that dates back to 2003.
• Babson defeated Keene State in straight sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-20) in the first meeting between the teams since 2011 last September in Babson Park.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 17 Babson (12-1, 2-1 NEWMAC) rebounded from its first loss of the season to beat UMass Dartmouth, 3-0, on Wednesday night.
• First-year Jordan Lapins led all players with 10 kills and junior Allie Puccio added eight for the Beavers, who hit .273 in the win.
• Puccio ranks third in the conference in kills per set (3.72), Lapins is averaging 2.39 kills, and first-year Laura Zuloaga (2.20 k/s) is hitting at a .432 clip over her first eight matches.
• Senior Elizabeth Cameron ranks fourth in the league in assists per set (9.24), while sophomore Maddie Malee is averaging a team-high 3.83 digs per set.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
• Smith (3-9, 0-2 NEWMAC) has dropped three straight matches after suffering a 3-0 loss to WPI on Tuesday.
• Junior Caleigh Johnson, senior Kimani Freeman and first-year Evi Evgeniou all finished with four kills apiece for the Pioneers, who made 16 service errors in the loss.
• First-year Ava Zollinger is averaging 1.95 kills per set, while Johnson is putting away 1.88 kills and averaging a team-high 0.53 blocks per set.
• Evgeniou is dishing out 6.70 assists per set and senior Jody Huang leads Smith with a 3.61 digs per set average.

SCOUTING THE OWLS
• Keene State (12-3) has won eight of its last nine matches after defeating Worcester State in three sets on Tuesday night.
• Sophomore Ali McLoughlin put away 12 kills and juniorMegan Palmer added nine kills and nine digs for the Owls, who hit .232 over the first two games.
• McLoughlin (3.44 k/s) boasts a .251 hitting percentage, Palmer is averaging 2.42 kills and 3.87 digs per set, and sophomore Emilyann Ashford is contributing 2.02 kills per set.
• Junior Bailey Wilson is doling out 9.58 assists per set and senior Olivia Mathieu leads the team averaging 5.60 digs per set.

BEAVERS IN THE NCAA RANKINGS
• The Green and White enters the weekend ranked 13th in hitting percentage (.255), 18th in opponents' hitting percentage (.088) and 21st in service aces per set (3.05).
• Individually, Puccio ranks 48th in kills per set and Cameron is 56th in assists per set.

MILESTONE WATCH
• Senior Kristin Carosotto enters Saturday's tri-match just five blocks away from breaking Babson's all-time record of 279 held by Krissy Robertson '16.
• Puccio, who moved into fourth place on the program's all-time kills list in Wednesday's victory, is now just 13.5 points away from becoming the seventh player in school history to reach 1,000 for her career.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 9-0 this season when recording more digs than their opponents.
