    Eric Neely, who is now in his 10th season as the head women's volleyball coach at Babson College, was hired in the summer of 2011 to take over a program that had recorded a winning record just once in the prior eight years. What the North Easton, Mass., native and former Boston Globe Division 3 Coach of the Year while at Ursline Academy has helped the Beavers achieve over the last decade is nothing short of spectacular. 
  • Women's Volleyball's Hardan Selected as Student-Athlete of the Week

    Junior women's volleyball player Samantha Hardan (Woodway, Wash.) was tabbed as the department's Student-Athlete of the Week on Friday. A defensive specialist, Hardan totaled a career-high 259 digs and averaged a career-best 2.27 digs per set in 35 matches last fall. She recorded at least 10 digs on 10 occasions as Babson reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament and finished the year at 33-2 overall.

  • Women's Volleyball's Witten Named Student-Athlete of the Week

    Senior Cassidy Witten (Honolulu, Hawaii) of the women's volleyball program was selected as the department's first Student-Athlete of the Week on Friday. In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be either a junior or senior and carry a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.30.
